I've mentioned before that this blog also suits me to retrieve things saved to go out there and find interesting, so as to be encompassed, we could invent the word "blog", it becomes easier to search and locate in the future. Furthermore I have noticed a weakness for issues that have to do with language and this has to do a lot.
Years ago I came across this piece of literature that, if a little irreverent, is masterful in my humble opinion. There are many stories about it but apparently was written by a student from Seville and published in a newspaper of national circulation. As it was said, demonstrates the richness of our language, Castilian, which is capable of different meanings, specific and very specific to a single word, as the manner and context in which it is used. There he goes.
An example of the rich Castilian is the number of meanings of a single word, such as the well-known and frequently used, which refers to male attributes, BALLS.
If accompanied by a numeral has different meanings depending on the number used. Thus, one means expensive or expensive ( "worth a cojón" ), two means courage ( has two balls "), three means contempt (" I care a fuck ") while that a very large pair means trouble ( "make it cost me a thousand pairs of balls" ).
